We didn't scout Greenville. We moved here.
My wife started her surgery residency at Prisma Health in 2023. So we bought a house, packed up our lives, and came to Greenville. Not as business owners looking for a market. As a family looking for a home.
And the more mornings I spent in this city, the more I recognized something familiar. Greenville already knows how to show up for each other. You feel it on Main Street on a Saturday. You see it in the way local businesses actually know their people.
But I noticed something else too. Plenty of great food. Plenty of good coffee. Not enough places built around the belief that your morning should feel like it actually belongs to you.
We built Kind Cafe in Fairhope, Alabama to close that gap. Now we're building one here. As your neighbors.
More than bagels and coffee. But also, really good bagels and coffee.
